Marc Sokolean Fine Art

Marc Sokolean was born in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1977. He is a fine art painter working mainly in oils. After he was introduced in high school to a work of Salvador Dali his interest in painting and art ignited. Marc is a great admirer of William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Lawrence Alma Tadema and John Waterhouse.

He likes to create classical, realistic paintings with a touch of fantasy.

Although Marc is a mostly self-taught artist he also followed classes at Watts Online Atelierfor two years and got private tuition from Scott Waddell.

He lives in the Netherlands and in Spain.
